In late August Hurricane Harvey brought flooding, power outages, and fresh water outages to Congressional District 14 from West Columbia and Lake Jackson on the west to Beaumont and Port Arthur on the East. Because of the devistation Sarge suspended active campaigning and spent much of his time helping others through the Lighthouse Charity Team.
